Thousands of Honduran street children go hungry every day. Home is the pavement where they will lay their head tonight. Many have lost Mom and Dad to AIDS and have to fend for themselves. Others are on the streets prostituting themselves for a meal or a drug fix. Few know how to read or write. None have been educated past grade five.
Forgotten and left on the streets, their future is hopeless. We should act now. The street children need to be listened to, held, loved, taught skills and discipled. But we cannot do this from afar.
Our primary purpose is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the forgotten street children of Honduras. Our outreach will take place on the streets, in the parks and in the city center of La Ceiba. We will present the gospel through drama and painting to creatively present the love and the future that Christ has for them.
Mark and Joy Bonam and their two children (Chris and Hannah) are willing to go, and be our hands, ears and eyes in Honduras. They have gone! Now will you help them?

F.A.Y.E. (Forgotten and Yet Engraved) Ministries
F.A.Y.E. (Forgotten and Yet Engraved) ministries was created by Mark and Joy Bonam as a vehicle to gain support for those in need in La Ceiba, Honduras. The name comes from Isiah 49 and is a reference point to how God looks at His children even when that child's own mother has forgotten.
Mothers have forgotten, governments of the world have chosen to forget but God says not I. I have engraved you on the palms of my hands.
Mark and Joy and those who support this ministry want to stand in the gap for these young ones.
